Downloads
Where do I find my files?
On the order confirmation page right after payment, and in the email we send to the address you entered at checkout.
The links stay valid, so you can download the files again later from the same email.
Which files are in a pattern?
Two PDFs: an A4 version and a US Letter version. Each one holds the instructions and the full-size print pages.
The email did not arrive.
Check the spam or promotions folder first. If it is not there, write to us with the email address you used and we send the links again.
Can I open the files on a phone or tablet?
Yes, to read the instructions. For printing the pieces, use a computer so the print size stays at 100%.
Printing a pattern
Which print settings do I use?
Scale 100% or Actual size. Turn off Fit to page and Shrink oversized pages. Print in portrait.
How do I check the test square?
Each print page has a 3 cm square and a 1 inch square. Measure one with a ruler before taping. If it is off by more than 1 mm, check the print settings and print again.
How do the pages go together?
Each page has a letter and number in the corner (A1, A2, B1...). The sheet map on the first print page shows the layout. Trim one edge of each page, line up the marks and tape.
Can I print at a copy shop?
Large-format files are not included yet. Print the A4 or US Letter file at home or at any copy shop.
Sizes and fit
How do I choose a size?
Measure your bust, waist and hip and compare with the size chart in the pattern. Each garment pattern also lists the finished measurements, so you can see the ease.
Is seam allowance included?
Yes. The amount is printed on every piece and in the pattern details on each product page.
Do crochet patterns have a gauge?
Yes, where size matters. Make a gauge swatch first; the pattern says which hook to try if your swatch is bigger or smaller.
Payments and refunds
Which currency are the prices in?
US dollars. Your bank converts the amount if your card is in another currency.
Can I get a refund?
Patterns are digital files, so purchases are final once the files are downloaded. If a file is damaged or you bought the same pattern twice by mistake, write to us within 14 days. The full terms are on the refund policy page.
Do I need an account?
No. Checkout only asks for an email address, where the receipt and the download links are sent.
Using the patterns
Can I sell what I make?
Yes, items you make yourself by hand, in small quantities. Mass production needs our written permission.
Can I share the PDF with a friend?
No. Each purchase is for one person. Your friend can buy their own copy.
Can I teach a class with a pattern?
Yes, if every student has their own copy of the pattern.
